DEN BOSCH, Netherlands (AP) — Facts and figures for the Solheim Cup:

Event: 20th Solheim Cup matches.

Date: Sept. 11-13.

Course: Bernardus Golf. Yardage: 6,557. Par: 72.

Format: Four matches of foursomes (alternate shot) and fourballs (better ball) on Friday and Saturday, 12 singles matches on Sunday.

Points: Europe needs 14 1/2 points to win the cup. Team USA needs 14 points to retain the cup.

All-time series: United States leads 11-7-1.

Last time: The Americans built a 6-2 advantage on the first day at RTJ Golf Club in Virginia, and Europe never caught up. The Americans had a 10-6 advantage going into singles, and Lilia Vu halved her match with Albane Valenzuela to give Team USA the clinching point in a 15 1/2-12 1/2 victory.

Captains: Angela Stanford (United States), Anna Nordqvist (Europe).

U.S. roster: Allisen Corpuz, Lauren Coughlin, Lindy Duncan, Megan Khang, Auston Kim, Nelly Korda, Jennifer Kupcho, Alison Lee, Andrea Lee, Yealimi Hoh, Angel Yin, Rose Zhang.

The course: Kyle Phillips designed Bernardus Golf, which opened in 2018. It hosted the Dutch Open from 2022-24.

Tale of the tape: Team USA returns nine of the 12 players on the winning team in 2024, but only five of them have won on the LPGA since the last Solheim Cup. Team Europe has four Solheim Cup rookies.

Key statistic: Team Europe has not lost on home soil since 2015 in Germany.

Noteworthy: Nelly Korda has 23 victories worldwide. The other 11 players on the U.S. team have combined for 18 wins.
