UDPATE: Check your lottery ticket

KAMLOOPS – There is a new millionaire in Vernon and 2 in Kamloops following lottery draws on the weekend.

The $50-million jackpot in the Lotto Max draw on Friday remains unclaimed for yet another week, but there is a $1-million winner in Vernon.

Thirty MaxMillions prizes of $1-million dollars each were also up for grabs, and eight of them were claimed.

Winning tickets for two MaxMillions were sold in British Columbia, two on the prairies and two in Ontario.

According to the B.C. Lottery Corporation one of the winning tickets was sold in Vernon.

The jackpot for next Friday`s Lotto Max draw will remain at $50-million, but there will be 50 MaxMillions prizes available.

Meanwhile in Kamloops, two numbers on tickets in the Lotto 6-49 Guaranteed Prize Draw bought in the Tournament Capital are winners.

You’ll want to check your tickets to see if it’s you.
