Penticton sex offender can’t stay out of jail
PENTICTON — A convicted sex offender will appear in court Monday after police arrested him yesterday near Okanagan Falls.
Ronald Teneycke is being held in custody at Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre and will appear in Penticton Provincial Court on Monday at 11 a.m. via video conference.
Teneycke is charged with breach of probation, failure to stop for a peace officer, and causing pursuit. This is not the first time he was arrested for probation violations; Back in September he was sentenced to six months in prison for breach of probation and drug possession. He was released in February, only to end up back where he started.
Teneycke has served over 10 years in jail for sexual assault convictions.
