Penticton farmers market season starts Saturday

PENTICTON – Believe it or not, it’s now May, which means warm weather, relaxing on the patio and the return of farmers markets.

The Penticton Farmers Market sets up this Saturday, May 3 for its first day of the season. The 100 block of Main Street will be blocked off for the market, open from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Among the crowd will be bakers, farmers, crafters and food vendors from the Okanagan.

The non-profit group that runs the market has even put together a video to show folks what the market is all about.
