Rash of theft from vehicles, vehicle thefts reported in Penticton and Naramata
PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP are continuing their investigation into a string of theft and property offences in Naramata earlier this week.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says police responded to six different reports of theft on Lower Moorpark Drive, Naramata Road, Partridge Road and Aikens Loop on Feb. 6.
Vehicles were broken into and keys to property, a laptop computer and other items were taken.
Police later recovered the laptop in a Jeep stolen the previous night and left abandoned on Aikens Loop, in the same vicinity where a blue,1994 Ford F350 with B.C. plate number DS6519 was reported stolen.
Wrigglesworth says several theft from vehicle complaints were also investigated in Penticton at Ellis Street, Alder Street and Westwood Drive residences.
