PENTICTON – Police in Penticton are investigating the robbery of the Valley Frist Credit Union on Main Street.

At approximately 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9, Penticton RCMP responded to a report of a robbery.

In their release police say they were on scene within minutes, however, they did not locate the suspect.

The Caucasian man, approximately 30 years old, did not reveal any weapons during the robbery, according to Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth of the Penticton RCMP.

The clothing, shown in the photograph, was discarded and found by police in the alley east of Main Street.

The forensic identification section attended and is analyzing items seized for evidence.

Penticton RCMP Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth asks if the public has any information that could assist the police in identifying or apprehending this person to call Cst. Andrew Campbell of the Penticton RCMP or Crimestoppers.

Police did not say what was stolen from Valley First Credit Union.
