Shelkie says a 38-year-old Keremeos man arrested at the home is being held in custody until he goes before a judge. The suspect is previously known to police.
Earlier this morning, RCMP asked the public to stay away from the area while they dealt with a "police situation" and closed the area to traffic for several hours.
