VANCOUVER – The B.C. Lions have signed star wide receiver Bryan Burnham to a contract extension.
The 31-year-old has been a CFL all-star in each of his last four seasons.
Burnham had 965 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 14 games in the pandemic-shortened 2021 season.
In seven seasons with the Lions, Burnham has 435 receptions for 6,616 yards and 38 touchdowns.
Burnham is the Lions’ leader in receiving yards in each of the last four seasons and his 14.4 yards per catch in 2021 was second to Lucky Whitehead (15.5).
“I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to stay with the only organization I’ve ever known,” Burnham said in a release.
“This is the best situation for my wife Aubrey and I to continue to be involved in the community. We also still have unfinished business in B.C. with the goal to bring the Grey Cup back to the West Coast.”
