What’s happening this New Year’s Eve in the Okanagan and Kamloops

Planning ahead for your New Year’s Eve celebration? We’ve got you covered with the top five events in Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton and Kamloops.

KELOWNA

  • New York New Years Eve – Celebrate with the whole family before the kids’ bedtime at Stuart Park on Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is free.
  • New Years Eve 2026 – Leave the kids at home when you hop over to Blue Gator Bar on Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to midnight for the New Year’s countdown. Entry is $42.
  • New Years Eve Party – Dress up and prepare to dance the night away on Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Red Bird Brewing. Tickets are $50.
  • 80s NYE Dance Party – Head to DunnEnzies in Mission with your best 80s glam on for an evening of dancing and live music, starting at 8 p.m., on Dec. 31. Tickets are $97.
  • New Years Eve Family Extravaganza – Ring in 2026 with the whole family at this all-ages party at The Delta Grand Resort on Dec. 31 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $68 for adults and $29 for kids.

VERNON

  • Noon Year’s Eve Party – Young scientists and their families can celebrate the new year early at the Okanagan Science Centre on Dec. 31 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tickets are required for children at $35 each but adults and kids twelve months and under are free.
  • New Years Eve – Head to the Vernon Elks for live music and dancing at this 19+ event on Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $65.
  • NYE at BNA Vernon – Dance your heart out until the midnight balloon drop at DNA Vernon on Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are $30.
  • New Year’s Eve – Celebrate the ending of 2025 with some jazz music, performed by The Justin Glibbery Sextet, at the Vernon Jazz Club on Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $75.
  • The Resolution Glow Party – Light up the night with this glow in the dark yoga party at Noble Yoga on Dec. 31 from 9:30 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $50.

PENTICTON

  • New Year’s After Hour Happy Hour – Kick off New Year’s Eve early on Dec. 31 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hester Creek Winery. Tickets are $25.
  • NYE at Theo’s Restaurant – Celebrate the new year Greek-style with dinner and dancing at Theo’s Restaurant on Dec. 31, starting at 4 p.m. Tickets are $25.
  • New Year’s Eve: Yard Katz Bash – Head to the Barley Mill Pub on Dec. 31 from 7 p.m. to midnight for an evening of dancing to celebrate the new year. Tickets are $30.
  • New Year’s Eve Bash – Dance, sing, and drink the night away at The HUB on Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $40.
  • New Years Eve Party – Grab a front row seat to the Penticton firework show at the Hooded Merganser on Dec. 31, starting at 9 p.m. Tickets start at $55.

KAMLOOPS

  • New Year’s Eve Dinner and Dance – Stop by the Colombo Lodge on Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. for this semi-formal bash. Tickets are $85.
  • New Year’s Eve – Celebrate the new year at Lac Le Jeune Resort on Dec. 31 from 6:30 p.m. to midnight so you can experience a true winter escape to finish off the year. Adult tickets start at $140 and children’s tickets start at $81.
  • NYE 2025 Party – Shattered Blue is taking over The Blue Grotto for their new year bash on Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $20.
  • New Year’s Eve Party – Dress to impress for Coast Kamloops Conference Centre’s New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $108.
  • Black Tie Affair NYE – Kick off 2026 with this black tie event at the Commodore Grand Cafe & Lounge on Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tickets are $20.
