Franko sets up three goals as the Rockets beat the Warriors 3-2

KELOWNA, B.C. – Zach Franko set up all three of his club’s goals as the Kelowna Rockets edged the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors 3-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Damon Severson and Ryan Olsen each scored for the Rockets (17-8-2), who have won five straight games, while Henrik Nyberg’s third-period goal stood up as the game winner.

Sam Fioretti and Braiden Doucette scored for the Warriors (10-12-5).

Jordon Cooke made 18 saves for the win as Daniel Wapple stopped 31-of-34 shots in a losing cause.

Kelowna went 1 for 3 on the power play while Moose Jaw failed to score on either of its chances with the man advantage.
